Loom Loft is a family-run furniture and interiors retailer born in Lancashire, founded by husband-and-wife team Boyd and Rachel Hargreaves, and now joined by their two sons, Ewan and Brad.

The Hargreaves family has a rich heritage that spans over 300 years, with seven generations rooted in Lancashire’s weaving legacy. Their lineage traces back to James Hargreaves, inventor of the Spinning Jenny—an innovation that helped shape the county’s textile history and fuel Britain’s cotton industry. That pioneering spirit lives on in Loom Loft’s story, our spaces, our furniture, and the way we do things differently.

We began with a shared vision to bring together character-rich pieces and thoughtful design to create a home interiors destination that makes you feel at home. We offer honest pricing and curated design all year round, always focused on helping you find furniture that reflects your style and space.

For us, supporting regional makers and skilled craftspeople is more than a choice — it’s a promise to invest back into the businesses that inspire us. We’re proud that 80% of our upholstery and furniture is sourced from local makers and British manufacturers.

Since opening our first flagship store in Clitheroe in 2019, we’ve grown across the North West, adding showrooms in Batley, Bolton, Preston, and most recently, Lytham. At our Clitheroe and Preston locations, you’ll also find The Loft Bistro, where you can enjoy breakfast, brunch, or locally inspired signature dishes made fresh by our chefs. It’s a place for conversation, inspiration, and great food — all under one roof.
