Dining Benches

+How to choose a dining bench
Benches are a clever way to seat more people in less space, and they tuck neatly under the table when not in use. As a rough guide, allow around 55–60cm of bench width per person so everyone has room to relax.
A corner bench set, such as the Austin or the best-selling Lindell, makes the most of a snug corner and creates a cosy, booth-like feel. For a longer table, a freestanding bench on one side keeps the look open and easy to move around.
Styles and finishes
Our benches span upholstered fabric and leather tops for a soft landing, and warm timber designs for a more classic, characterful look. Many are available as part of a coordinated dining set, so the bench, table and chairs speak the same language.
To pull the scheme together, pair a bench with our dining chairs on the opposite side, or explore corner dining sets designed for compact, sociable spaces. Choosing the table first? Start with our dining tables.
