There’s something about spring in Lancashire that makes people want to slow down a little. The lighter evenings return, gardens start to wake up again, and suddenly a quick browse for a new sofa turns into a full afternoon out.
That’s exactly the feeling behind The Loft Bistro.
Why Is There a Bistro Inside Loom Loft
We often get asked why we chose to place a bistro at the heart of our showrooms. The answer is simple really, creating a home you love shouldn’t feel rushed.
Choosing furniture is personal. It’s about comfort, family life, how you live day to day. We’ve always believed those decisions are better made in relaxed surroundings, over good coffee and something delicious to eat, rather than under harsh lighting with pressure to make your mind up quickly.
The Loft Bistro was designed to make the experience feel slower, warmer and more enjoyable. Somewhere to pause between showroom walks, revisit fabric samples, or quietly debate whether the larger corner sofa really will fit.
Because furnishing your home should feel inspiring not transactional.
The Loft Bistro“A slower afternoon, a good lunch, and a showroom full of ideas, exactly how furniture shopping should feel.”
A Fresh Taste of Spring
Our spring menu is built around comforting seasonal dishes, relaxed brunches and lighter lunches that feel just right for this time of year. Wherever possible, our chefs work with trusted local suppliers and fresh seasonal ingredients, creating a menu designed for long catch-ups, easy lunches and leisurely mornings.
This season you’ll find:
- Lancashire Hotpot, slow cooked lamb, onion and carrots topped with sliced potatoes
- Halloumi & Avocado salad with sun blushed tomatoes and sweet chilli dressing
- Steak burger with Lancashire cheese and fries
- Chicken supreme with chive mash in a white wine sauce and seasonal vegetables
- Homemade cakes, traybakes and warm scones served alongside freshly brewed coffee
Whether you’re stopping for breakfast before browsing or settling in for lunch after a showroom wander, the menu is designed to feel relaxed, generous and easy to return to.
More Than Just Part of a Showroom
Over time, The Loft Bistro has become something more than somewhere to stop during a shopping trip. Friends meet here for coffee, families come for weekend brunches, and local businesses use it as a relaxed place to catch up over lunch.
You don’t need to be furniture shopping to visit although it’s hard not to leave feeling inspired after wandering through the showroom.
It’s the kind of place where you can take your time. Browse a little, pick up a few swatches, sit down for lunch, then go back for another look once you’ve had chance to picture it properly at home.
Planning Your Visit
You’re always welcome to walk in, though weekends can get particularly busy, so we’d recommend booking ahead where possible.
We’d love to welcome you to The Loft Bistro at our Loom Loft Preston and Loom Loft Clitheroe showrooms this spring.
