+How Fast Track works
Fast Track designs are the ones we offer in a focused selection of fabrics, velvets and leathers, chosen because they suit the widest range of rooms. Keeping the cover list tight is exactly what makes the short lead time possible, so the trade-off is a smaller palette rather than any change in how the piece is built or upholstered.
If immediate despatch matters more than choice of shape, our in stock sofas are already here and ready to go. If you would rather have the full cover library and can wait a little longer, the made-to-order ranges across sofas by size open everything up.
More than sofas
The range runs wider than the name suggests. Alongside two, three and three-and-a-half seaters there are corner groups, armchairs, club chairs, swivel recliners and footstools, which means a whole room can be furnished on the same short lead time and in the same cover. That is genuinely useful when a house move has left several rooms to sort at once.
The Buckley range runs from a two seater through to a wing chair and footstool, and the Greyson range offers a mid-century shape in Italian leather and fabric with pocket sprung seats. The Goodwin Swivel Chair with Integrated Footstool is a good example of the choice available here, with a wide selection of covers and base finishes. For more armchair shapes, see our chairs and armchairs and footstools pages.
Choosing a cover for a quicker delivery
With a shorter list to work from, it helps to start from the room rather than the swatch. A mid-tone neutral in a textured weave hides everyday life well and sits happily with most colour schemes. A deeper velvet suits a room used mainly in the evenings. Leather makes up a good share of this range and is a sound choice for a busy household, wiping clean easily and softening attractively over the years.
Our leather sofa guide covers the differences between the leather types, and you can browse by material through our leather sofas and fabric sofas pages.
