We chose to have it made static out of choice.
The only adverse thing is that there are seating creases in the leather very soon after purchase. It does say on the information received on delivery that the sponges within the seat will change when sat on, but it's the purchaser should be told that prior to purchase.
We also chose the mid range leather which is lovely."
